CBeebies Land Hotel at the Alton Towers Resort

Whether you’re a family, a solo traveller, a group of friends looking for extend your adventure in the evening – there’s somewhere perfect for you on Resort. So, let’s break down your options before you book.

TIP:  Don’t forget to book through Merlin Holiday Club for an up to 25% discount!

Alton Towers Resort Hotel

The Alton Towers Hotel

Ideal for: Adults, Solo Travellers, Families

Let’s start with the Resort’s first ever hotel, themed around the incredible explorer Sir Algenon, who has made the Alton Towers Hotel his home. This hotel is ideal for adults, solo travellers, and families with mixed ages, due to the entertainment, bar, beautiful pondside patio, and its adjoining access to the spa.

The hotel’s restaurant The Secret Garden serves plenty of food options including burgers, steak, and salads. Due to the restaurant's popularity it’s important that you book your table for breakfast and dinner – but don’t forget you can go to other restaurants like the Rollercoaster Restaurant too!

The hotel has different themed rooms at a different price starting with; Explorer Room, Arctic Explorer, Moone Voyage Room, and the Gangsta Granny room. There are other limited edition rooms on offer too so click here to find out more.

Splash Landings Hotel at the Alton Towers Resort

Splash Landings Hotel

Ideal For: Families

The wacky Splash Landings hotel is built around fun and reflects the sunny joys of the Caribbean. The entertainment here is geared towards children with interactive options like the Calypso Crew kids club. Adults are very welcome; however, we would recommend this hotel for families with children or teenagers.

For breakfasts and dinners, you can eat in Flambo’s Jambo restaurant which serves great options for everyone. As with all the hotel restaurants they can get busy in peak times so make sure you pre-book your table.

A big appeal of staying in this hotel is its access to the Waterpark. Off peak the waterpark often closes at 4pm, but during summer it can sometimes stay open to around 9pm – giving families extra fun once the theme park closes. And if you do book for some splashtastic fun, don’t get to check the Perks Hub to see if you can get a 20% discount!

Everything here is designed for little ones with themed rooms including: Bugbies Room, Bing Room, Octonauts Room, and more. The Windmill Restaurant has all sorts of yummy delights for growing kids with hungry tummies, and they’ll love the burgers and healthy pasta dishes – and an unlimited salad bar.

The Enchanted Village Lodges at the Alton Towers Resort

Enchanted Village

Ideal For: Adults, Solo Travellers, Families

The Enchanted Village is a beautiful, quirky, and quiet option for adults, teens, and families looking to get away from the busyness of the main hotels. You can still enjoy the entertainment and bar in the Alton Towers Hotel, but you can also come away into your own private lodge or luxury treehouse.

The Woodland Lodges are modern, comfy, and packed with sockets for charging your devices! You’ll find a main bed, bunk beds (in a hideaway alcove), a free book to take home, as well as a TV. Outside the lodges you’ll find your own private decking and an area of green for the kids to play.

The Luxury Treehouses can sleep up to 8 people and features a Kitchenette, a lounge with its 50” TV and games console, and a private decking space, and a hot tub.

The Enchanted Village is served by the Crooked Spoon restaurant which serves home-cooked favourites and unusual alternatives, as well as a three-course kids’ menu.
