Passholders Guide to Blackpool in 2023

Blackpool is one of the most popular seaside destinations in the UK with an abundance of incredible attractions to cater to all ages and interests. From the famous Blackpool Tower to the sandy beaches and vibrant nightlife, there are plenty of reasons to add Blackpool to your 2023 holiday plans! In this blog we’ll do a run down on the attractions and perks available to you.

The Blackpool Tower

When Blackpool Tower first opened in 1894 it was the tallest man-made structure in the British Empire! Standing at 518 Feet tall the attraction now boasts the Blackpool Tower Eye, the Circus, their famous ballroom, and The Blackpool Dungeon.

The Blackpool Tower Eye allows Passholders to get 380ft into the sky with panoramic views including the Irish Sea and the famous promenade. For the brave you can also walk out onto the glass viewing platform, or you can learn about Blackpool’s history in the 4D cinema.  From the 29th of April until the 5th of November you can also experience the Tower Top Garden, with the floral wonderland changing each season.

For those wanting to be wowed and entertained it’s recommended that you also check out the Circus! This 2-hour spectacle (+20-minute intermission), filled with rich heritage and jaw-dropping acts, is an experience suitable for all ages. Passholders can visit the circus for just £5 per person, or if you’re willing to take a chance you can gain entry for free on the day if there’s space available.

 

If you’re looking for music in a spectacular setting you should also visit the magical Blackpool Tower Ballroom. It’s not only free to Passholders, but it’s perfect for relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. Passholders can also get an Afternoon Tea for £14.95 pp.

The Blackpool Tower Dungeon

The Blackpool Dungeon is an entertaining and educational experience bringing together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes, and rides. For anyone who has visited a Dungeon previously and is wondering whether this one will be similar… the answer is sort of! The Blackpool Dungeons boasts the same iconic humour, wit and performances as the other Dungeons, but some of the shows are tailored to the 1000 years of history in Blackpool.

Step into the Spotlight

Peter RabbitTM: Explore & Play

Designed with younger children in mind, this adorable attraction brings the story of Peter Rabbit™ to life in an interactive multi-sensory way. Young explorers are encouraged to use rabbit-like skills and complete challenges located in themed zones throughout Peter’s world. Complete all the challenges in this 45-minute-long adventure and you’ll get the chance to join the Secret Treehouse Club, unlocking your treehouse badge!

Brand-new and opening in May, Passholders can run wild in the world of their favourite stories!
