Hey there Passholder – welcome to Merlin Annual Pass! We’re so excited to have you on board and can’t wait to see you at our attractions very soon. We know there’s lots of information to take in as a new Passholder, so here’s a round-up of all the important bits you should know about before setting off on your Merlin adventures…
We’ve gone digital!
Yes, that’s right! All our Merlin Annual Passes are now digital meaning you don’t need to wait for your physical pass to arrive before heading to the attractions. Once you’ve received your digital pass via email, you can then use the bar code to begin pre-booking your adventures online. For more information on how to use your digital pass watch our video. If you’re a Gold or Platinum Passholder, your physical passes should arrive in the post within 30 days.
Our attractions
We have over 25 epic Merlin attractions awaiting you across the UK! Take on world-beating rides at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park and come face to face with tigers at Chessington World of Adventures Resort – Britain’s Wildest Adventure! Then, dive into an amazing underwater world and come nose to nose with sharks, turtles and more at our enchanting SEA LIFE Centres across the UK. There are so many awesome adventures coming your way, so if you haven’t already check out all our attractions here!
Pre-booking your day out
We know you’re eager to get to the attractions (and we can’t wait to see you!) but we do ask that you pre-book before heading on your day out. You can pre-book your attraction visits on our Pre-Booking Hub here. If you have any trouble booking, please do get in touch with our customer services team – their contact details are below.

Get ready for a blockbuster season with your Merlin Annual Pass as we celebrate over 50 special events across the country! This year sees the return of family-favourites such as the oomptastic Oktoberfest at Alton Towers and Thorpe Park, over five spooktacularly creepy Halloween celebrations, the return of the famous Alton Towers firework spectacular and more. Passholders can also enjoy brand NEW events such as the thrilliant Festival of Thrills at Alton Towers, the amazing Carnival at Thorpe Park and ROARsomely fun Mardi Grrra! at Chessington World of Adventures! Passholder merchandise now available!
This Spring, we’re so excited to launch our first EVER Merlin Annual Pass merchandise range! We have loads of epic designs from pin badges, lanyards, clothing, mugs to umbrellas – there’s something for everyone! Why not grab yourself something from the collection to feel like a true Passholder?! The range is available in-store and online at Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures Resort, Thorpe Park and Warwick Castle. Check out the entire collection here!
Redeeming a carer pass
Redeeming your carer pass couldn’t be easier. Simply submit your application online and our team will process your pass within the next 14 days. We know you’ll be eager to visit the attractions, so whilst you wait for your pass to arrive, please take your carer documentation with you to the attractions who will issue you with a one-day ticket.
