The Coronation of His Majesty The King and Her Majesty The Queen Consort will take place at Westminster Abbey on Saturday the 6th of May, 2023. To mark this historic event which will be watched around the world, many of our attractions will be celebrating, offering special one-off events and experiences for you to enjoy! Kings Coronation Party! – 6th & 7th of May
Join LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Manchester for their exclusive Coronation celebration with a Passholder discount!
From 9:30 - 12:30 (6th & 7th May) you can celebrate the LEGOLAND Discovery way with mocktails, crowns and blowers on arrival. There’ll also be a DJ, balloon modelling, face painting, a magic show and LEGO® mascot meet and greets!

London Eye Coronation Capsule - 29th April – 8th May
To celebrate the Coronation of King Charles III, the lastminute.com London Eye is offering guests the unique opportunity to ‘step behind the royal coronation curtain’ and have their very own crowning experience 135m in the air!
The brand-new Coronation Capsule will honour this once-in-a-generation moment, replicating the grandeur and gothic design of Westminster Abbey in a London Eye pod – while offering visitors a bird’s eye view of the real historical church where 38 coronations have taken place since 1066!

Blackpool Coronation Celebrations – (7th May)
There’s plenty to do in Blackpool to celebrate the King’s Coronation throughout May! Visit Madame Tussauds to see their new life-like figure of His Royal Highness King Charles III as he takes his place among the other royals immortalised in wax at the attraction. The Blackpool Tower is celebrating a British way of life with the Blackpool Tower Eye being transformed into the highest garden in Blackpool, with inspiration taken from traditional English gardens, and as always, the Blackpool Tower Ballroom is the perfect place to enjoy Afternoon Tea fit for a King!
7th May will see the whole town will be coming together for a day of celebrations along the promenade and in front of the Tower where you can enjoy picnics, live acts, a screening of the Coronation Concert and some very special illuminations.
