Passholders! The festive season is upon us, and we're busy prepping the attractions with twinkling lights, Christmas trees and decorations galore! It’s the most wonderful time of year and we have plenty of magical adventures awaiting you and the family. From rinks and light trails to Santa meet and greets, there’s a festive experience for every Passholder to enjoy this Winter. Here’s a closer look at what’s coming up…
Winter’s Tail – Chessington World of Adventures Resort

Get ready to unwrap the magic of Christmas at Winter’s Tail. The festive extravaganza is back and brighter than ever before with our brand-new Christmas Village, promising a sleigh-full of festive delights for the whole family to enjoy!
With the help of jolly elves, step into a world of wonder as you journey through a festive wonderland to meet the big man. Nestled in his cozy grotto, Father Christmas awaits with a twinkle in his eye and a warm smile for every visitor. Then venture through Enchanted Hollow* where we’ve heard the Elves, with the help of the friendly animal residents, have set up their Toy Workshop in the underground town!
Take a break from decking the halls and dive into the excitement with select rides and amazing attractions PLUS a Christmas Panto! Whether you’re planning on a winter getaway in one of our Resort Hotels or a festive day out – don’t miss out on Winter’s Tail!

Christmas at the Castle - Warwick Castle
23rd of November – 5th of January
Meet Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the mischievous elves in the stunning staterooms as they share a heartwarming story of festive hope and joy with our magical Stories with Santa experience. Glide across the spectacular open-air ice rink under the historic and iconic Guy’s Tower, wander through a sparkling outdoor light trail featuring over half a million twinkling lights to dazzle and delight, and wrap up warm for a stroll through the enchanting Christmas food and drink village.
Brand new for 2024, guests can revel in our all-singing, all-dancing Traditional Family Pantomime, spreading festive cheer to all ages. The Snow Queen on Horseback offers a spectacular photo opportunity, while little ones will be enchanted by the new Winter Princess Tower Storytime, brimming with magical tales. Additionally, children will be delighted by the new Stories with Santa story time and a special gift. To top it all off, our brand-new light trail installations will dazzle and delight everyone!
Entry to the castle from 10 am – 4 pm is included in your Merlin Annual Pass. However, you can book the following activities with a discount:

LEGOLAND® at Christmas

Enjoy a festive family day out with your little elves as LEGOLAND transforms into a wintery wonderland! Our twinkly lights, giant DUPLO® Christmas tree and magical atmosphere will have the whole family full of Christmas spirit.
There is so much to do from festive shows and entertainment to LEGO® building fun and of course your favourite rides and attractions. You can also experience a Build to Give Workshop, and Ollie’s Christmas Chaos show.
Christmas at Alton Towers

Join in the festive fun with Magical Days Out at Alton Towers Resort! Enjoy a sleigh full of festivities including the UK’s only CBeebies Land at Christmas plus all NEW experiences for 2024!

Christmas Bricktacular – LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Birmingham

Get into the festive spirit at the ultimate LEGO Christmas adventure! There are so many magical activities to join in with as well as two awesome rides, lots of LEGO build & play zones and a 4D cinema experience at the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground!
- Take part in a scavenger hunt in our winter wonderland themed MINILAND® - find the reindeers to make sure Santa can deliver his presents in time!

Shreks the Halls! - Shrek's Adventure London

London’s South Bank has a new guest coming to town at Shrek’s Adventure! London. This festive season experience the grotto inspired by DreamWorks Animation’s beloved Christmas special, Shrek the Halls.
For kids and grown-ups looking for some much-needed yuletide cheer, the big green ogre has taken over from Santa to create a festive misadventure the whole family will love.
Guests who visit Shrek’s Adventure! London will get the chance to meet our very own Shrek santa and pose for a picture with him to mark the special occasion.
Christmas at SEA LIFE London

Snowy is on a mission to try and help the animals of the North Pole have a great festive period and an even better, safer future.
